Russell Hagen

April 23, 1956 ~ September 18, 2020 (age 64)



Native of Everett, Washington, and resident of Willow Creek, California, Russell Hull Hagen passed away at his home in Willow Creek, California, surrounded by his loved ones.

Russell was employed for many years by Northern California Scaling Bureau. During his life he enjoyed bird hunting and playing baseball for the Redding Browns and the Humboldt Crabs.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Leigh Hagen; son, Stephen and wife Deborah; son, Rusty and wife Jan; and grandchildren, Dane and Joey Hagen.

He is preceded by his children, Jeffrey and Leigh Anne Hagen.

Personal thanks are extended to Dr. Norman Bensky and to Russ’s home health care giver and the many friends that visited him during his illness.

At Russ’s request, there will be no services. A memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Russell to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements are under the care of Paul’s Chapel, 1070 H Street, Arcata, California.
