Richard Stone

Richard died February 2, 2020. He loved Humboldt County and lived here for 35 years. He graduated from Humboldt State University in 1980. He received his Master’s Degree in psychology 1983, also from HSU. He excelled in street counseling those suffered from schizophrenia. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing with friends and family. He was sweet, kind, generous soul.

Richard is survived by his father, Donald Stone and stepmother Jane, of Corpus Christi, Texas, his brother Jeff Stone, M.D. and sister in law Cindy Lewis, M.D.. of Seattle, WA, and his adopted step son RobRoy Latham Jr of Hoopa. He is also survived by nieces and nephew, Savannah, Taylor, Zane and Lilith Stone, and Sadie Neff.

A private memorial service will be held in Arcata.
