Patricia Anne Getz-Jewett

We lost mom on April 7, 2023. Our hearts are broken. She touched so many lives and will live forever in our hearts.

Patricia was born to parents William and Velma Craig in French Camp, CA. She was their only child. She will be remembered for her great love of music, gardening and animals. She was very creative and could make something out of nothing. She loved to paint and crochet. In her younger years she made beautiful cakes and many gifts for friends and family. She was a breast cancer survivor and devoted many hours to creating beautiful chemo bags for the Breast and GYN Health Project in Arcata.

She met her Husband John later in life and enjoyed many adventures together. They were the perfect couple.

She leaves behind her children Sabrina Ferkey (Jim), Marita Williams(Ray) , Ashley Lowery, her grandchildren Amanda Martino, Jeffery Lowery, Christopher Lowery, Stephanie Lowery, Lorissa Lowery, RayRay Williams and Chanty Williams as well as her 8 great grandchildren and newborn great great grandson.

Our hope is that her legacy lives on in all that knew and loved her.

There will be a viewing at Paul's Chapel in Arcata, CA on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 4-7 pm and a graveside service at the Blue Lake cemetery on Friday April 21, 2023 at noon. Reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in her name to The Breast and GYN Health Project in Arcata, CA.
