Lisa Lynn Punch

Lisa Lynn Punch was born November 7, 1964 and passed at age 54 on July 29, 2019.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Friday, August 2, 2019 @ 2:00 pm at Paul’s Chapel & Funeral Services, located at 1070 H Street in Arcata. Flowers and charitable donations can be made personally to family members at the service.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Wilma Nylander (Punk); sister, Lori Mooers; Lisa’s long-term boyfriend, Brian Phillips, children, Tyson Punch (Jessica), Todd Wormington (Ashley), & Dayna Shumard; and grandchildren, Erika Punch, Tannor Punch, Parker Fuqua-Punch, Nevaeh Wormington, Logan Wormington, & Lane Shumard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lisa was an active family member both physically and supportively. She excelled in sports such as track & field, volleyball, cheerleading, and softball, setting records at Pacific Union School, and participating in the Junior Olympics. When she had children of her own she continued to mentor them in their sporting endeavors which continued on to her grandchildren.

She was a stubborn woman and set in her ways, but no one can deny her fierce love and dedication to her family. Whether it be a sports game, graduation, or birthday party she was there with endless support and her love will continue to be felt by all.
