Angel Aubrey

Angel Louise Aubrey, was a loving mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. Born October 18, 1984, she began her journey home to be with our Creator on February 17, 2018. Angel was preceded in death by our beloved mother: Rachel Paula Saxon, brother: Isaac Lyle Saxon, Aunties: Endora Arlene Saxon, Genave "GiGi" Saxon, Uncle: Nathaniel Saxon, Great Aunt: Eleanor Abbott, Grandpa: Eugene Arthur Saxon, Nephew: Roman Wade M. Scott, and her beloved cousin: Aerieal Saxon. Angel is survived by her daughters: Racheldawn and Mekhia Saxon-Gabriel, Tasheena Aubrey, sons: Isaac Saxon and Angel Raye Aubrey, fathers: Antone Richard Aubrey Jr (Andree Silva), and Arlen Doolittle Sr. (Monda Doolittle), brothers: Antone IIII, Paul, and Daniel Aubrey, Virgil, Lil Arlen Jr., Freddy, and Kenny Doolittle, Wes Marshall, Shan Davis, Sisters: Roseanna, and Kelsie Aubrey, Arlene, Starlene, Raven-Simone, Waterphall, and Renee Doolittle, Grandmothers: Linda Saxon and R. Fern Doolittle, Uncles: Eugene "Yogi" Saxon, and Emmett Chase (Eva Smith), and 28 nieces and nephews of whom she loved deeply.

Angel Louise Aubrey was a beautiful Native woman with a joyful spirit and sincere, loving heart. She was passionate about singing, beading, and making sure her family, friends, babies, and elders alike, all knew she loved us. Angel enjoyed cooking and could make a delicious meal out of the bare minimum. She made a living by selling her beadwork. Her kind spirit led her to offer a helping hand, heart, smile, and "I love you" to most anyone she crossed paths with in both the Hoopa and Happy Camp Communities.

A viewing will be held at the Full Gospel Church, Friday, Feb. 23. Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Neighborhood Facilities, 11 am. Reception to follow at the Hoopa VFW(Legion) Hall.
